State Dept: Chinese Military has Links to Wuhan Lab
There has been a lot of speculation about exactly where the COVID-19 virus originated. The CCP is eager to point to the fact that a version of the virus has been in populations of bats for some time.
Research suggests one of the closest known ancestors of the virus that causes Covid-19 emerged in bats more than 40 years ago.
It has been poised for human crossover for some time, the scientists said.
And this casts further doubt on conspiracy theories that the virus causing Covid-19 was bioengineered or escaped from a laboratory, they added.
While may very well be true, it is also true that the lab in Wuhan China, where the virus originated, was also doing research into those viruses. As a matter of fact a woman who claims to be a Chinese virologist has stepped forward.
Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a scientist who says she did some of the earliest research into COVID-19 last year, made the comments Friday during an interview on the British talk show “Loose Women.”
When asked where the deadly virus that has killed more than 900,000 around the globe comes from, Yan — speaking via video chat from a secret location — replied, “It comes from the lab — the lab in Wuhan and the lab is controlled by China’s government.”
It also seems that the US State Department has some information that is concerning. In a fact sheet released on the 15th of January they point out shady links between the Chinese military and the Wuhan lab.
- Despite the WIV presenting itself as a civilian institution, the United States has determined that the WIV has collaborated on publications and secret projects with China’s military. The WIV has engaged in classified research, including laboratory animal experiments, on behalf of the Chinese military since at least 2017.
It seems that the State Department may have some information that the rest of us may not be privy to. The new administration should be very careful who they jump in bed with should this information become public.
