How Long Before the School Bus Backs Over Biden Senior Adviser Cedric Richmond?
From Breitbart:
On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Biden Senior Adviser Cedric Richmond commented on a CDC study that shows “little evidence that schools have contributed meaningfully to increased community transmission” by stating that the administration “isn’t about pushing against” opposition to reopening schools by teachers’ unions, but is really about just pushing for safe reopening, “We can reopen schools and we can do it in a manner where there’s basically no transmission,” and that the CDC study “still showed transmission.”
He needs to get with the program. Teachers want your money, they just don’t want to work very hard for it. The effort they put into remote learning has proven that it just doesn’t work. Apparently many teachers are fine with that.
In Chicago, some teachers didn’t have the energy to go to school, but they had enough to make an interpretive dance video in protest. The video is called “The Moment We Are Safe” and was rightfully mocked on twitter.

They are sticking by their story though. Over the weekend the union voted to keep the schools closed, despite plans for middle schools to open up this week.
The results of the vote, expected on Sunday, could jeopardize Chicago Public Schools’ phased reopening as the district plans to offer in-person instruction for 70,000 elementary and middle school students.
Some 10,000 educators are scheduled to report to work at their schools on Monday to prepare for those classes. On Friday, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) CEO Janice Jackson said if those educators do not show up for work, it would constitute an illegal strike by the Chicago Teachers Union.
Looks like there may be a disconnect between the administration and the Teacher’s Unions. I don’t expect President Biden to hold out against them. The union machine props up much of the Democratic party. We will see a clarification of Cedric’s remarks pretty quickly.
