The Left Snarls at the NYT Over Mild Criticism of the President
The so called paper of record and usual mouthpiece of the left has been thrown under the bus. The New York Times took notice of the unusual number of Executive Orders signed by President Biden in an opinion piece published yesterday.Β The paper correctly pointed out that, just as he was doing to Trump, his EOs can easily be undone. There were more than a few that may be considered brash. I won’t bother posting them, you have seen their kind before.
It makes me wonder how this will play out. Will the administration stop feeding helpful leaks to one of their biggest cheerleaders? That isn’t likely to happen.Β The reason for the opinion piece is probably to meant to remind the new White House that they need to feed tips on legislation to their friends. After all, they don’t have Trump to gnash at anymore. They have to keep getting exclusives to roll out. If not they may find some other issues to mildly scold the President on.
Keep in mind that this is nothing compared to what the Trump administration endured on a daily basis. When we start seeing Kavanaugh level stories (and retractions) out of the Times, then we can believe they aren’t operating hand in glove with the President.
In the mean time, just enjoy watching them eat their own.
