Tucker Carlson had an amazing monologue last night. He explains the reason for all of the security and vitriol coming out of the Democratic Party these days. It is fear.

I agree. More than that though, they are building on what they have said previously. AOC is saying things that are so far beyond the pale that it is mind blowing

“I am happy to work with Republicans on this issue where there’s common ground, but you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago so you can sit this one out. Happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren’t trying to get me killed. In the meantime if you want to help, you can resign,” posted AOC on Twitter.

The democrats have moved their position way out to cover the extreme far left. The people that are out there already exist, but they didn’t have anyone in leadership validating their beliefs. Not only are the democrats providing cover for the radicals, they can now serve as recruitment tools. Imagine being able to point to political leaders saying that people on the right are trying to kill the opposition, as AOC does above. Or that the enemy is in the people’s house. A lot of people that see that are going to hear a call to violence.

Now that they have staked out this position, they can’t all of a sudden say that they were kidding, lets all hug. They will lose any power that they have managed to accumulate. The crazies that they are now influencing would never allow that. The democrats would become targets themselves.

So the only option open, that allows them to stay in power, is to continue down this road. They will ratchet up the “right is violent” rhetoric while trying to defang the people they fear.

To achieve that, all perceived thought leaders on the right have to be marginalized or silenced quickly. A movement around them cannot be allowed to grow. This is why the MAGA movement is being destroyed. They cannot let a person like Trump have a open line of communication to his supporters.

They also need to get the guns. Most of the second amendment supporters in this country also happen to be conservative law abiding people. That is why there will first be a gun registry, followed by a mandatory buyback of firearms.

This is the bed that has been made. Now the democrats have no choice but to sleep in it.
