Pope Francis is once again trying to use the most convenient crisis at hand to advocate for world socialism. Like any other politician, he believes that emergencies, real or imagined, should be used to push for more bureaucratic power.
“Let us all keep in mind that there is something worse than this crisis: the drama of wasting it,” he states. “We cannot emerge from a crisis the same as before: we either come out better or we come out worse.”
That is pretty straight forward. It isn’t really the crisis itself that is the problem. It is the idea of wasting it as an opportunity to institute radical change. And what change is he pushing for? With the Pope being such a reliable leftist, it is pretty easy to guess.
We can heal injustice “by building a new world order based on solidarity, studying innovative methods to eradicate bullying, poverty and corruption,” he adds, “all working together, each for their own part, without delegating and passing the buck.”
This new world order will be based on eradicating inequalities and attending to the environment, the pope affirms.
“We can no longer blithely accept inequalities and disruptions to the environment,” he declares. “The path to humanity’s salvation passes through the creation of a new model of development, which unquestionably focuses on coexistence among peoples in harmony with Creation.”
It is pretty amazing how he can pull all of this together under the same tent. Picking it apart we can see that he is talking about “The Great Reset” that the World Economic Foundation is trying to usher in, poverty, the environment, and the new development model is sustainability. That is pretty much the entire pile of leftist drivel all tossed together in a word salad.
Unfortunately for us, the empty suits currently occupying the Oval Office have just the right people behind them pushing for exactly this type of governance. And if they get their big voting reform measure passed, we can expect this to be solidified into our new normal.
