For most all of last year we were constantly hammered with news about the BLM mostly peaceful protests. The protests were usually anything but peaceful, but they were a useful tool for the left. They were said to be in response to the inhumane treatment by the police of minority people, specifically African Americans. In truth the data doesn’t back that claim up at all, but that wasn’t the true point anyway. The reason for the violence was to show an America in decline caused by the racist policies of orange man.
The media, who was obviously in the tank for Biden, was happy to pick up that ball and run with it. They have had it in for Trump since before the election and this was another way they could help push him out.
The question is then, did they know that they were being aided by the Chinese communist party? That many people, organizing that many protests, for so long, is not a cheap endeavor. Startup money was needed to get the ball rolling. After it became a cause it would be able to fund itself, but the beginning would have needed help.
Enter Black Lives Matter founding member Alicia Garza:
The Black Futures Lab, a venture of Black Lives Matter founder Alicia Garza, is sponsored by the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA), an organization that works with China’s communist government to push its agenda in the United States, according to an investigation by the Heritage Foundation’s Mike Gonzalez.
Gonzalez discovered that the Black Futures Lab donation page explicitly states they are “a fiscally sponsored project of the Chinese Progressive Association,” explaining where donations to Black Futures Lab are funneled.
So there is the link between BLM and the communist party of China. We know that the Democrats embraced the movement early on. Kamala Harris even stoked the flames for them. She did an interview with Stephen Colbert before the election and had this to say about the protests:
“That’s right,” Harris replied. “But they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop, and this is a movement, I’m telling you.”
“They’re not gonna stop, and everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop,” she added. “They’re not gonna stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not gonna stop after Election Day.”
“Everyone should take note of that, on both levels, that they’re not going to let up — and they should not. And we should not,” she concluded.
To recap everything so far, China helped BLM, BLM helped influence the election, so China helped Joe. With all of that in the background, the US and China are engaged in bilateral talks this week. The Chinese wanted to make sure that the United States understood that they did not have a the moral high ground. Imagine how Secretary of State Blinken felt when he got hit with this from Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi:
China is firmly opposed to U.S. interference in China’s internal affairs … On human rights, we hope the United States will do better on human rights. China has made steady progress in human rights, and the fact is that there are many problems within the United States regarding human rights, which is admitted by the U.S. itself as well. … The challenges facing the United States in human rights are deep-seated. They did not just emerge over the past four years, such as “Black Lives Matter.” It did not come up only recently.
The BLM movement that was supported by China, and embraced by the Democrats, is now being used as a cudgel against the administration that used the movement to get them where they are. The irony is so thick you need a shovel.
