A lot of people have seen the video of the Army Lieutenant who was pulled over in Virginia last December. The officers seemed extremely hyped up when confronting the Lt who was pretty calm, but obviously frightened.
Here is the video for those who may not have seen it:

He is pepper sprayed a couple of times before he gets out of the vehicle. Then he was forcefully taken down by one of the officers. The Lt. has since announced that he was going to sue the officers for violating his constitutional rights.
Well, the Town that employs the pepper spraying officer has since terminated his employment.
One of two police officers accused of pepper-spraying and pointing their guns at a Black Army officer during a traffic stop has since been fired, a Virginia town announced late Sunday, hours after the governor called for an independent investigation into the case.
The town of Windsor said in a statement that it joined calls from election officials, including Gov. Ralph Northam, in requesting an investigation by Virginia State Police into the December 2020 encounter in which two Windsor officers were accused of drawing their guns, pointing them at U.S. Army second lieutenant Caron Nazario and using a slang term to suggest he was facing execution.
Here is my two cents. Without all of the context surrounding the events here, it looks pretty bad for the police. There could have been something that precipitated the level of excitement of the officers, but it isn’t evident. And the fact that the Lt. was released without any charges after this doesn’t speak well about the entire episode.
The police deserve the benefit of the doubt, but they have to know that everything they do is going to be painted in a negative light. A little mental pregaming of the possible ways that anything they do could be spun, may go a long way.
Update!!
It turns out that the good Lt had a weapon in the front seat with him. This was after he had traveled over a mile with the police in tow. Now that more of the story is coming out, it looks like a lot of people have been misled by the media narrative.
This is from The Gateway Pundit:
What the BLM activists and our dishonest media is not telling everyone is that Nazario refused to stop for over ONE MILE, that he had no visible tag on his license plate, that he was NON-COMPLIANT when he did stop and that he had a GUN in plain view!
News Max host Greg Kelly, called Nazario a “bad lieutenant” and revealed that he had a loaded gun by his leg on the floor of the vehicle in the front seat. Of course, the media and the BLM hysteria messengers forgot to mention that part!
