The death of Officer Sicknick after the protests at the capitol on January 6 was initially spun as a homicide. The press claimed that he was hit with a fire extinguisher.  When in fact he contacted his brother that evening and said he was “in good shape” despite being sprayed with what he thought was pepper spray.

After the extinguisher version fell apart, the prosecutors went after another angle and said that he died of complications from being sprayed.  However, the medical examiner “found that Sicknick suffered a stroke and died from natural causes.” That doesn’t seem to matter to the feds. The two Trump supporters that were caught in a photograph spraying something in the general vicinity of Sicknick have been charged with assault and put behind bars in D.C. They are being held there pending trial just to enhance the insurrection fable told by the government. From the AP via Military Times:

Two men charged in the assault of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died after defending the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, must remain behind bars while they await trial, a federal judge ruled Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan denied pretrial release for George Tanios and Julian Khater, calling them threats to the community. The judge said the assault with chemical spray on Sicknick and two other officers contributed to the mob’s ability to breach the police line that had been guarding the Capitol.

“These two gentlemen are law-abiding, respected individuals of their community and it makes it very difficult for the court to make this conclusion,” Hogan said. But the government’s evidence and videos of the attack leaves “little doubt” about what transpired, Hogan said.

To be clear, Tanios and Khater have not been charged with Sicknick’s death. They are charged with assault, but the government needs to show that the protest on the 6th was some kind of violent insurrection. Letting these two guys go free wouldn’t really support the fiction of dangerous people trying to overthrow the government.

So these two guys are sacrificed, while hundreds if not more BLM and Antifa thugs get off scot free. It is really sickening. The democrats will destroy anything and anyone to support the narrative they are trying to produce.
