These guys don’t even try to pretend they are helping anyone. If they were really some kind of revolutionary force they would be trying to garner some support from somewhere.  The fact that they aren’t may say a few things.

They could just be a bunch of malcontents venting their rage on the populace. This theory makes sense to me because these freaks remind me of the dungeons and dragons crowd on a power trip.  If they didn’t get to play dress up and hide their identity, they wouldn’t be out there.

They could also be a seemingly unorganized militia group that is being funded to do what they are doing. This makes some sense because these guys have been doing this for a long time. If they are able to put this much time and effort into something they need to be able to live somewhere and eat. It seems like it would be tough to keep this up with just a group of teens/young adults that are being supported by mom and dad.

It could be a combination of these as well. I think there is some outside funding even if they are the dungeons and dragons crowd. Which makes me think the feds would be able to track the money somehow. Then they could wrap all of this up in some racketeering or conspiracy thing. It doesn’t seem like law enforcement is too interested though.

No matter how they do what they do, they need to be taken off of the streets. Taxpayers are being fleeced by these guys. Nobody wants to live in a place with this kind of activity. Businesses are closing and property values are dropping because of this crap. And  the tax money is paying for a hollowed out police force that is ineffectual at best.
